TOWN OBZOR – BULGARIA

Obzor is a town on the Black sea coast and the beach is one of the most beautiful and most untouched in the whole Europe – 10 kilometers long beach with sand free of stones.

Obzor has many shops and restaurants, bank, post, chemists, doctor office, policlinic, theater, circus, amusement park, police and fire dpt. i.e. The town is surrounded by a beautiful nature, wine yards, forests and agriculture areas. The public places offers tasty food and refreshing drinks, national music and dance. In the sea is a pleasure for bathing, fishing and different types of water sports.

Obzor means unlimited view. The town is a historical place named Heliopolis (the town os the Sun) during Helenic times, and Jupiters Tempel during the time of the Roman people. Bulgaria have c 7 mill citizens. The state of Bulgaria has been established in i 1879, as a parliamentary republic. TRADITION

Bulgaria is one of the oldest vine producers, and the second biggest vine exporter after France. The production a year is from 200 to 220 mill liters. The most know vine types are Gamsa, Mavrud, Melnik, Pamid. The production was stately owned until 1990, but at the moment a big part of it is private. Bulgaria produses also tobakk, medisin, silk, rose oil, ceramic, crystall and i.e. Bulgaria is known with a good cheese types, vegetarian food, soups and special dinner dishes.

CLIMATE AND NATURE

The temperature is app. 31°C during the summer and down to 5°C in the winter. It is bathing temperature 7 mounths of the year, up to 25°C in july og august. The average temperature during the summer season is 26°C. Black sea is up to 2245 meters deep, has many fish types incl. dolphins. There are high mountains as Rila mountain with 2925 m. above the sea and Troyan-Kalofer with 2376 m. above the sea. On the top of the mountains there is snow laying 200 day /year. There are 970 mineral sources with temperature from 8°C up to 101,4°C. The most of the country is very nice agricultural land. The forests are around 28 % of the country. Danube river goes 668 km along the border.

TOURIST DEVELOPMENT / PRICE CHANGES

Tourism in Bulgaria expected to increase. Tourists from the EU countries and Russia. The prices of goods and service are one of the lowest in Europe. That is the basic reason to travel to Bulgaria. The prices of irremovable properties in Bulgaria are still very low.

STATLY AFFORT

The Bulgarian parliament has been making a decision increasing of tourism program directed mostly to sea- and ski tourism. The program includes a financial support and developing of infrastructure, service offers, cultural offers, historical values, taking care of green areas, making an informational centers for tourists and i.e. The French magazine "Paris Enterprises", and the British magazine Homes Overseas presents Bulgaria as European "Hot Spot" . Bulgaria has been presented as a country with stable and growing economy. Bulgaria become a member of EU in 2007.
